chunky baby blanket

I'm so excited to knit something for my baby girl to come. I found this cute and super simple looking blanket. The pattern specifies their yarn, which is pricey! So I had to try to figure out what yarn from JoAnn's would work okay and I think I found some good stuff. However, I don't think it's quite as chunky as the yarn they sell, so I may have to try to adjust the pattern. I'm having trouble getting the guage just right. Anyway, after this project, I'm moving on to some cute little legwarmers for her. And maybe some bigger ones for Sydney? lol!
